On Saturday September 10th we successfully opened our Melbourne leg of the KOFFIA Korean Film Festival 2011. Huge crowds saw in the first ever film we screened at ACMI "A Barefoot Dream", and that audience only grew for "The Man From Nowhere". A great beginning to what will be an event not to be missed over the years to come. 

Performances of Samulnori and Gayageum have helped bring Korean Culture to Federation square, and that will continue tonight as we celebrate Chuseok, Korean Thanksgiving! Come along for yummy rice cakes and traditional Korean punch, with more great films in the KOFFIA lineup.

If there is one thing we have discovered through KOFFIA, is that people really have a passion for drama and hunger for Korean cinema! Long may this continue
