Blue is a hard working waiter in an Asian restaurant trying his best to keep his job. He always keeps a smiley face on as he serves the food. Blue is different than other people. He used to have a life working as a fluffy TV mascot from a children’s program. Some people recognise him from the old days but most people have forgotten him and won’t give him a second glance. One day bad news arrives for him.

Born in Seoul, Korea, Stephen moved to New Zealand in early 1990’s. Kang studied video art, performance and time based art and gained a Bachelor In Fine Arts at the Elam School of Art, Auckland University. He produced and directed number of experimental videos and short films while studying.

When do you want replace your ex lover.
Tom is obsessed with the memory of his past love that is constantly pervading his dreams every night and eventually begins to haunt him during his every waking hours. On a chance encounter with a long-haired girl, his confused state of mind makes him believe that the only solution to erase these past memories is to kill this long-haired girl.

She senses uneasiness and chaos…

What the Korean girls are doing underground world in Australia?
“Second from the right” is a contemporary story of a Korean girl who finds herself working in a Sydney underground Norebang (karaoke room) as one of the many “helpers” (hostesses) found there. We follow her quiet suffering while at the same time; gain insight to this underground world. This short film is about abandonment, alienation and the hypocrisy within our society.
